Polystyrene EPS Compactor-Project in Guilford Region
2025-06-11
Funding Secured for Recycling Initiative
In 2024, Guilford’s new foam recycling program secured funding, with Congressman Chris Pappas (D-NH) visiting the state’s sole polystyrene recycling facility to emphasize the importance of promoting sustainable growth. The Northern Border Regional Commission recently allocated $54,000 to this transfer station. During summer 2023, Guilford Township received an initial $50,000 grant from the Foam Recycling Coalition to purchase specialized equipment that compresses waste polystyrene into dense blocks, significantly facilitating recycling processes.
Professional Compaction Technology
For energy-efficient EPS compaction, we recommend the Qinfeng CF-CP250 Cold EPS Compactor Machine. The initial processing stage involves crushing waste materials into uniformly-sized fragments to optimize compaction efficiency. Only when waste reaches sufficient density can transportation costs be reduced to economically viable levels. The Qinfeng CF-CP250 achieves a 50:1 compression ratio and processes multiple material types including EPS, XPS, EPE, and EPP.
Addressing Regional Recycling Problem
“Polystyrene foam has nowhere to go,” stated a local official. “While labeled as recyclable, its extreme lightness and bulkiness make transportation economically unfeasible. We accept polystyrene from all sources since New Hampshire lacks dedicated recycling facilities.” This makes such recycling equipment essential for the region.
Comprehensive Recycling Solutions
For organizations interested in polystyrene foam recycling(EPS COMPACTOR), Qinfeng remains available for consultation. Additionally, we provide comprehensive sales channel solutions for recycled materials. Beyond supplying polystyrene compactors, Qinfeng offers complete recycling system solutions and end-to-end polystyrene recycling packages. We look forward to potential collaborations.
